This is my 2nd review for this Wendy’s
location. The parking lot was pretty empty. And for some reason there was a
yellow sign out front that said “Caution Wet Floor.” Clearly, the floor was not
wet. The restaurant felt chilly again. I ordered a Pretzel Burger combo, plain
with just cheese. When I went to get my drink, the cashier came over and asked
if it was ok with the cheese sauce (in addition to the regular cheese). I said
yes. Then somehow I didn’t have my cup positioned correctly under the spout and I
squirted tea onto the floor. I wiped it up with some napkins.
When I sat down and unwrapped my burger, it also had
bacon on it. Normally I’d be okay with that but this time I pulled it off. The
pretzel bun was really good. The fries did not taste fresh, unfortunately. I
noticed the fireplace was a lot cleaner than last time, with only a couple of
handprints. Someone had left a tray on a table with a big puddle of ketchup on
it. But I was happy to see a worker come and clean it up. All in all, an okay
Wendy’s visit.
I want to see a Wendy's in Illinois with a fireplace not to cheap to use it. Well just one at all.
