For this visit, it was lunchtime and the
line was very long. It took several minutes before someone was able to take our
sandwich order. I got the Paradise Club with no lettuce, tomato, or Dijon-mayo.
I find this place confusing because some people are just getting baked goods,
some are ordering sandwiches, some are waiting for salads, and I don’t think
people realize they can cut ahead and skip to the register. But after paying,
we sat down and waited to be called so we could take it to go.
Quite some time
passed and my friend went to check on our order. The bag had been sitting back
there ready but never made it on to the final station… Lovely. My croissant
sandwich looked squished. When we got back to work, my friend realized they
gave him the wrong sandwich.
Mine tasted fine and all, and the chocolate chip
cookie was good, but certainly not worth 8 bucks. I’ll probably stick with their
baked goods in the future, if I can help it.
