Fri 8/9: Subway (Arrowhead Mall)

It was about 10:30am and there was no line so I didn’t have to wait. There were three people behind the counter. I ordered a 6” ham, egg, and cheese on flatbread. The guy who took my order asked if I wanted white or yellow egg. I said “regular.” He started to grab the egg white and I said, “yellow, sorry.” He asked if I wanted it toasted. I said yes. He asked what kind of cheese. Swiss. Then just a little salt & pepper and that was it.

$3 for a breakfast sandwich and an iced tea. What a deal! I think the guy had it in the toaster oven a little longer than normal and the flatbread was so hot I couldn’t even pick it up for a few minutes. But it was a good, simple sandwich and I enjoyed it.
